These are tough times for business but, despite the obstacles, across NSW thousands of home-based businesses are succeeding by thinking creatively, and using innovative business techniques.

The NSW Government is proudly supporting local small businesses through Home-based Business Week from 25 – 29 May 2009.

We’ve lined up a selection of experts to provide timely tips and worthwhile advice.

Home-based Business Week is just one of the programs the NSW Government has in place to support small business.

We’re bolstering jobs by investing in a brighter future for our economy, and we’re spending $56 billion over the next four years on infrastructure — an investment which underpins 154,000 jobs each year.

That’s $1.6 million, being spent every hour of every day on infrastructure and jobs.

So if you’re a hard working home-based business operator then come along to an event or a seminar during this week-long celebration of home-based business and learn how to imagine, create and evolve.
