About Home-based Business Week 2009

Home-based Business Week 2009 is coordinated by the New South Wales Department of State and Regional Development. Events across the week offer the opportunity to participate in workshops and seminars specifically designed to help home-based business think creatively, and use innovative business practices.

About this Events Module

This website has been developed by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development as a free service for the small business operators and small business service providers in NSW. It lists all Home-based Business Week events and includes online registration facilities for most of them.

It is part of the Small Business Website events module www.smallbiz.nsw.gov.au/events that lists many other specialist events for small businesses being run across NSW.

Visitors to each site are encouraged to search for events of interest to them. Events are presented in a variety of ways and include; workshops, expos and forums. They may be coordinated by the Department or other partner organisations that provide business services.

The Small Business Website events module also lists events for the Department’s other major small business events programs, such as Small Business September and Western Sydney Manufacturing Week.

Not-for-profit business service providers are welcome to register their events on the Small Business Website events module. Event coordinators need to register to receive an account enabling them to create and manage their event(s) and to optionally take registrations online, in which case registrations can also be managed.

Note, however, that events for Small Business September can only be entered through the Small Business September website www.smallbusinessmonth.nsw.gov.au.

The Home-based Business Week website does not take external (non Departmental) events or allow external event coordinators to register.
